If you find the nokia Lumia 710 is struggling, you may need to perform a hard, or factory reset, which will clear everything off your phone and restart it.

The reset will delete everything from your phone, so it's best to back it up before performing any of these 

Method 1

1. From the main menu either swipe right-to-left on the touchscreen or press the right arrow button on the top right of the interface.
2. Scroll through the icons until you get to the ‘Settings' menu. Then, tap the ‘Settings' icon.
3. Scroll down to the ‘About' menu which should be second from the bottom. Tap it.
4. Press the ‘Reset Your Phone' button.

The Nokia Lumia 710 will reset itself and return you to the main menu.

Method 2

1.  Switch the phone off.
2. Press and hold the Volume Down, Power and Camera buttons at the same time.
3. When the phone vibrates release the Power button but keep the Camera and Volume Down buttons held for a further five seconds.

The phone will now be reset.

Lumia 710 'Battery Pull'

If your phone has seized up but you don't want to erase all the data it's normal to try a ‘battery pull'. Simply take the back cover off the Nokia Lumia 710 and remove the battery. You can then replace the battery and hopefully, the Lumia 710 will turn back on.
